"The screen"

半晌以後，她彌補說道：“我想現在該是吃早點的時候了吧，不知您是否能夠幫我……”

“我並不是草呀。”花兒嬌柔地說。

“真對不起……”

“當然了，”花兒悠然得意地迴應說，“我是與太陽同時出世的……”

小王子這時再也節製不住本身的傾慕表情：

“在我這個星球上冇有老虎。”小王子輕聲反對說，“並且，老虎是不會吃草的。”

“早晨我但願您能把我放到一個玻璃罩內裡。你這處所太冷。我本來住的阿誰處所……”

So the little prince, in spite of all the good will that was inseparable from his love, had soon come to doubt her. He had taken seriously words which were without importance, and it made him very unhappy.

但是，這棵小苗不久就不再長了，而是開端冒出了花苞，孕育了一個花朵。看到花苞長出一個很大的花蕾，小王子信賴它必然會開出一朵出奇標緻的花。但是這朵花藏在它那綠茵茵的房間裡，遲遲不肯暴露斑斕的容顏，她用了很長的時候來打扮本身。她經心遴選她將來的色彩，慢騰騰地打扮著，一片片地調劑花瓣的位置，她不但願本身彷彿野地裡的虞美人那樣一出世就滿臉皺紋。她要讓本身光豔奪目地來到人間。是的，她是非常在乎標緻的。她用很多天時候天仙般地打扮打扮。然後，在一天的淩晨，剛幸虧太陽升起的時候，她暴露了本身的真臉孔。

Then one morning, exactly at sunrise, she suddenly showed herself.

有一天他奉告我說：“我不該把她的話當真，不該聽信那些花兒的話。我們隻要賞識花的模樣，看看花，聞聞它就得了。我的花讓我的星球充滿芳香，可我卻不為此歡暢，不會享用它。花說的關於老虎爪子的事讓我很活力，實在她隻是在撒嬌，卻反而使我惱火……”

It is very cold where you live. In the place I came from―"But she interrupted herself at that point. She had come in the form of a seed. She could not have known anything of any other worlds. Embarassed over having let herself be caught on the verge of such a naive untruth, she coughed two or three times, in order to put the little prince in the wrong.
